What Grand Junction Loves About Their Mom
With Mother's Day right around the corner, I can't help but think about all of the things I love about my mom. I'm not alone. This is what Grand Junction loves about their mom.
It hard to pick just one thing that I love about my mom. I love everything from her ability to cook a five course meal with her eyes closed, to her sense of humor and to the fact that she's one teeny tiny woman.
After I asked you what you love about your mom on our Facebook, these are what I got in response.
I'm literally laughing out loud right now reading this one. I've tested my mom's patience more times than I can count, but she loves me regardless. That's truly admirable, mamas.
I feel this one in my heart and soul. I moved across the country to Colorado and my mom still continues to be one of my best friends. I know that I can always count on her no matter why, when or where we are.
I admire Cathy's mom for this and wish that more people were like this. Who are we to be judgmental? There's no point. And it feels so good to give and to help others, more people should try it.
Way to go mama! Bambi's mom is a straight up warrior. She shows her true strength by showing cancer who the real boss is. It's mom.
I feel the same Rachel! It's hard to just choose one thing. Then Rachel's mom chimed in with 'oh you're so sweet.' This is what Rachel had to say in return. (Which would make a great Mother's Day card by the way.)
Brenda also commented on our Facebook and said that she loves 'absolutely everything' about her mom. So I asked her 'like her face?!,' and this is how Brenda feels about her mom's face.
I am right there with you Brenda. You know how every mom thinks their child is beautiful? Well I think kids feel the same about their moms.
I know my mom is beautiful and not just because of how she looks. It's because of her love, her wisdom, her character and her soul. I'm not crying, you are.
