Grand Junction is stepping up to curb the spread of sickness on the Western Slope, especially the coronavirus. The Grand Junction Fire Department reshared a post from the city of Grand Junction about handing washing stations

According to the city of Grand Junction, numerous hand washing stations have been set up and here's where you can find them:

  • Colorado and 5th
  • Whitman Park

The hand washing stations are set up to encourage people to be mindful of their hygiene and to always wash their hands. According to the Facebook post by Grand Junction City Information:

The CDC advises everyone to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to help slow the spread.

The handwashing station at Colorado and 5th Street is right across the street from Taco Party. The other handwashing station is at Whitman Park, which is between 5th and 4th Street and Ute and Pitkin Avenue.
