Four More Goat Yoga Sessions In Store For Grand Junction This Summer
Perhaps you've heard of it - Goat Yoga. If you've not participated yet, don't worry, you have four more chances. Goat Yoga classes are available in Grand Junction throughout the summer
Grand Junction Parks & Recreation still has four Goat Yoga sessions schedule for summer 2021. Here's your chance to get on board with the craze sweeping the nation.
You Made That Up
No, I didn't. Seriously, Goat Yoga. What exactly is it? Well, it's pretty much just as it sounds. According to the Grand Junction Parks and Rec webpage:
Blending the relaxation and focus of yoga with the happy distraction of 12 little goats, brings together the sheer joy of the human/animal connection. This gentle yoga class, perfect for all levels, invites you to come as you are and allow yourself a unique experience. Goats are spontaneous and may snuggle on your mat, burp in your ear, and give you a hug.
Sound interesting?
It should. This isn't the first Western Colorado class to include non-human life forms. Have you tried the Roice-Hurst Humane Society's fascinating "cat mediation" group on Monday mornings?
What You'll Need
What do you need to do in order to participate in Goat Yoga?
- Bring a yoga mat

How Does This Work?
How exactly does a Goat Yoga session unfold? Well, the class format includes a 15-minute "goat playtime" before and after the one-hour Yoga class.
