Warmer weather goes hand in hand with road construction. Grand Junction holds the trademark on one very interesting skill, namely, the ability to tear up every street in town, all at the same time. What would you consider to be Grand Junction's worst current "Cone Zone"?

The video above shows the construction at 29 Road and Patterson. It's not bad, just a little weird.

For the most part, the majority of the road construction in the valley fails to constitute a "big deal." Most are of no real consequence, that is, unless you are unaware of them.

The one that presents a real doozy would be the construction at the on-ramp to I-70 between Grand Junction and Fruita. This project eliminates the merging lane on I-70, and a big chunk visibility right along with it. Keep a sharp eye out, the merge is dangerous.
