One would think that by this point everyone would know you can't leave a dog in the car during the warmer months. As obvious as that might appear, many people still do it, often with tragic results. If you saw a dog in a hot car, would you confront the owners like the people in this video did?

Today's temperature in Grand Junction is expected to hit 90 degrees. According to Caninecollege.com, if the outside temperature is 90 degrees, the temperature inside a car will reach 124 degrees within 30 minutes.

Let's assume you see a car with a dog locked inside, and you have reason to believe the owners aren't coming back anytime soon. Would you open the car and give the dog water as these people did? Would you contact the police?
