Grand Junction Bar Working On Plans for Reopening Party
Over the weekend as I was scrolling through Facebook I got a Facebook event invite from my buddy, James. Six weeks ago this wouldn't have been abnormal, but due to the Coronavirus and all bars and restaurants closed except for take-out I definitely wasn't expecting an invite to anything.
But it was for an invite as Central Station located at 2993 North Avenue in Grand Junction is planning their Shooting to Open May 1st Party. As you could have probably guessed the reopening party is set for Friday, May 1st kicking open the doors at 7 p.m. with no cover.
The dance party is on and happy hour is open from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. as the night gets started.
As of now, Governor Polis here in Colorado has our stay at home order going through Sunday, April 26th. This is the first opening we have heard of so far in the Grand Valley including people gathering.
Obviously, Central Station will follow and laws and or rules that are enforced after the stay at home order has expired. And if extended this gathering will not happy.
As we hear of more businesses, restaurants, and bars opening back up we will be sure to let you know. If you are a business owner or manager and want to let us know your plans or hours upon reopening please shoot me an email billy.jenkins@townsquaremedia.com
