Colorado is going to lift their stay-at-home order currently in place on Sunday night at midnight. Governor Jared Polis gave the details yesterday in a press conference that the state will transition into a safer-at-home model with some social distancing measures still in place.

According to 9 News, Our Governor gave important details about businesses that will be allowed to reopen with precautionary measures in place to make sure citizens are maintaining safe and healthy standards.

Many retail stores will open their doors again on Friday, May 1st with the 6-foot rules still in place, he is asking for one way aisles in grocery stores, and employees wearing face masks to be safe.

As of May 1st, all Colorado citizens are being asked to comply with the following precautions:

  1. Please continue to stay at home when possible, no unnecessary travel.
  2. Everyone is encouraged to wear face masks when out in the public.
  3. No gatherings of over 10 people.
  4. If you are sick, stay home, this one is very serious.

People with a weakened immune system or elderly citizens should continue to avoid going out into the public at this time.

Non-Critical Offices:

50% open with precaution standards in place.

Large workplaces are being asked to do temperature/symptom checks regularly on their employees.

If telecommuting is an option, please continue exercising that option.

Restaurants/ Bars/ Music Venues:

Only open for takeout or delivery.

Exploring options of opening up venues to smaller crowds.

Childcare:

Open with precaution standards in place.

Schools K-12:

CLOSED

Hair and Nail Salons, Tattoo Parlors, Dog Grooming, Personal Trainers:

Open with precaution standards in place.

Medical Procedures (Elective):

Open with precaution standards in place, this is only for critical care needs.

Real Estate:

Showings allowed with precaution standards in place.

No open houses.
