Gov. Polis Wants All Counties Moved to 'Level Orange' on Monday

Governor Jared Polis is congratulating and applauding all Colorado residents for taking the necessary actions to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, especially over the last few weeks as many people have been celebrating the holidays. According to KDVR, he is so happy with the numbers he is seeing that he is now asking the state health department to move all Colorado counties currently under "Level Red" to dial it back to "Level Orange" beginning on Monday, January 4th, 2021.

The Colorado Governor also posted on Twitter with more details, describing now that positive cases have been in a steady decline for the past 13 days, and only 73% of ICU beds are currently in use.

With a large area of the state still under the "Level Red" restrictions, including most of the Front Range, here are the changes that are expected to take place on Monday with "Level Orange" being put into place:

Indoor gatherings will be allowed, but capacity will be capped at 25-50% whichever amount is smaller.
Personal gatherings are permitted up to 10 people (no more than two households getting together).
The last call for alcohol will be moved from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m, although bars will remain closed if they don't serve food.
Gyms can operate at 25% capacity or up to 25 people indoors.
