Three Reasons to Go to Dinosaur Day on June 9 in Fruita
Dinosaur Day is coming up this Saturday (June 9) in Fruita. Here are three reasons you should go to Dinosaur Day at the Dinosaur Journey Museum this weekend.
Here in Western Colorado, Dinosaur Day is a tradition. It's been going on since 1987 and this year the tradition continues. Dinosaur Day is this Saturday (June 9) at the Dinosaur Journey Museum.
These are three reasons you should celebrate the 31st Annual Dinosaur Day at the Dinosaur Journey Museum in Fruita this weekend.
- 1
Fossil Food
There definitely won't be a shortage of food at Dinosaur Day at the Dinosaur Journey Museum in Fruita. There's pizza from Pablo's and ice cream from 5M. You (and your baby dinos) both won't leave hungry. While I'm there, I'll think I'll have some of both kinds of fossil food.

Raptor Rager
There's so much going at Dinosaur Day at the Dinosaur Journey Museum, it's a rager. There's everything from music, to bounce houses, to face painting and games and more. The mini raptors should be exhausted by the time they leave there on Saturday. (Which is good news for the mom and dad raptors.)

From Prehistoric Times Until 4
Regardless of what time your mini raptors wake up and get ready, you'll make it to Dinosaur Day. The 31st annual Dinosaur Day is from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. So you can go early, for lunch or whenever. Be a part of the tradition this Saturday at the Dinosaur Journey Museum.
