The Grand Junction Fire Department announces three new members to the team.

Candice Rademeyer, David Nichalson and Danielle Barent are the newest graduates of the Grand Junction Fire Department Emergency Medical Services academy. Let's congratulate them and make all three feel welcome.

From the story on KKCO News website, Grand Junction's Fire Chief Ken Watkins said that the new recruits were already paramedics, but Grand Junction was in need of a more aggressive medical program. The three-week training was difficult, but it has prepared the graduates for a variety of emergency medical situations.
