What is geocaching you ask? It's basically an outdoor treasure hunting game and if you like looking for treasure, you may want to check this out.

With over two million geocaches in the world, it's becoming one of those things that will involve fun and a GPS device.

How you play is you go to geocaching.com and put in the coordinates they give you. Once you have them, travel to the spot and get busy searching! If you find treasure, you can take it, but the rules of the game state you must replace it with something of equal or greater value for someone else to find. With so many different places in Colorado to play, it's a small wonder why it's becoming so popular. So let's see where we can play.

We can start off right here in the Grand Valley. Cultural areas, art museums and more are usual spots to look at. Check it out and see if you find something cool right here at home.

There are over 300 here in Breck. Enough for you to spend a whole day in the high country playing.

With over 20 registered caches here, you can certainly have fun playing. Plus, look around you. What amazing sites there are to see while your geocache.

Who knew you could have so much fun in so many different places. We have to get out and do this some time. There are over 100 geocaches in Leadville alone.
