Maybe it wasn't exactly a 'statement.' Maybe more of a reminder of what this country stands for. Freedom. Independence. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Equality. Solidarity. Humanity.

I guess it means different things to different people. But, how can you not be proud of these kids and the coaches and whoever decided to take the field in this manner?

This was followed by a moment of silence for the innocent lives lost in Las Vegas.
