WTF, is right. And we're not talking "Welcome to Fruita".  A man who invaded a Fruita home helped himself to Oreo cookies and milk. But that isn't the only thing he took.

The cookies and milk were so relaxing, he found a comfortable spot to crash and take a nap.

The intruder, 33-year-old Matthew Dunham, also left notes in the kitchen saying he didn't know where he was.

When Dunham woke from his nap, he asked children in the home for help. He also told them and their father he was harmless and needed help.

A Mesa County Sheriffs Deputy and a Fruita Police Officer found Dunham in the home after being contacted by one of the home's occupants.

A report says the break-in happened in the early morning hours prior to 3 a.m. on Monday (April 17) when police arrived at the residence. The exact time of the break-in is unknown, but one of the notes had the words 'help 2:43 harmls' on it.

Dunham was arrested on suspicion of felony second-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and theft less than $50. In other words, the cost of a package of Oreo cookies and a carton of milk.
