Free Pizza For First Responders and Health Care Personnel
Living Colorado, we already know that we are truly lucky with how beautiful it is here and how much stuff there is to do (when we are allowed to get outdoors). But even more than how gorgeous our state is, are the amazing people and businesses that continue to step up and help others during this very difficult time.
Just yesterday we heard about our friends at Zoup offering free soup to any health care worker, this takes place each Monday throughout the entire month of April. Such a generous thing to offer to people that are working so hard to keep our community safe and healthy.
Just today, as I was looking at the Grand Junction Mutual Aid group on Facebook I noticed another Grand Junction business that was offering free food to not only heal care personnel but also first responders and that is Little Caesar's on 12th and Orchard.
Their General Manager (Jessica Ramey) posted that any first responder or health care worker with proper identification could stop in for a free lunch combo from 11 am until 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Each lunch combo consists of 4-deep dish slices of pepperoni pizza plus a 20-oz bottled drink, not a bad lunch for people constantly working just grabbing food on the run.
If you know any first responders or medical personnel please let them know that this is available for them, and to take advantage of it. We all appreciate the work they are putting in right now.
