Most folks are focused on the results but in other news Twitter announced that this election was the most tweeted political event in U.S. history.

At 10:16 p.m. ET on Tuesday night that more than 20 million election-related tweets were sent out about the 2012 Election.

Meanwhile, Twitter said President Obama's tweet, "Four more years. pic.twitter.com/bAJE6Vom," is now the most re-tweeted message of all time. At press time the post had been retweeted 445,672 times.

The same message posted to the president's Facebook page reached one million likes just 53 minutes after it was posted.
