You can donate your unwanted books, videos and DVDs to the Friends of Mesa County Libraries for their annual Spring Book Sale on May 16th through the 18th!

Waste not want not my mom always used to say! Just because you no longer need or want something doesn't mean someone doesn't! We don't throw anything away, we recycle it and if you have books, videos or DVDs you no longer want you can drop them off at the Friends Book Drop located at the First Congregational Church across from Grand Junction High School at 1425 N. 5th St. on the west side of the church.

The Spring Book Sale is open to the public from 9a to 7p Friday, May 17th, and 9a-1p Saturday, May 18th, at the church. May 16th is for Members only and anyone can join for $10 at the door.
I love this event because I get books for $1 to $2 bucks and all the proceeds support programs and projects at Mesa County Libraries!
If you've never hear d of Friends of the Mesa County Libraries here's some back ground: This non-profit organization has provided support and monies for various programs at the Mesa County Libraries for almost 50 years including; the Summer Reading Program; One Book, One Mesa County; Poetry Night; Literacy; and many others.
