Speaking as someone who was born in Grand Junction over 44 years ago, I have to wonder, is it really supposed to rain in January? For the second time in as many weeks, we are expecting rain in the forecast. Does that strike you as really weird?

Please note: I said rain, not snow. Do you recall when we used to go December through the end of February with the temperature never getting above freezing? This morning, January 26th, I had to seriously debate as to whether or not I wanted to wear a jacket.

Tuesday night packs a 20% chance of rain, while Wednesday comes complete with sunny skies and 50 degrees.

With this in mind, are you getting concerned about what's in store for us this Summer? With so little snowfall this Winter, could it happen we'll have another Summer where half the state of Colorado burns down?
