Digital IDs + Driver’s Licenses Coming in December

Coming to your smartphone in December is an app that will allow you to access your license or ID digitally when dealing with state agencies.

The app is called myColorado and will make it easier for those needing to access government services to do so.

In an age where more and more things are being added to the digital wallet, we carry it can actually help keep you and your information secure.

The app is not quite prepared to replace the driver's license or I.D. but by next year you will be able to use the app to show proof of a driver's license as well. That means one less thing for you to have to carry. Once that happens you can leave your wallet or purse at home, knowing you have your license or I.D. digitally stored on your smartphone.
