Ever wish you could un-send an email you accidentally sent to the wrong person or hit the "reply all" button by mistake?

Well, it's always been there, but now the secret behind "how to un-send" an email is revealed. The bad news is that you only have a 30-second window of opportunity to do something about it after that, the damage is done.

Ready? Ok. On your Google email page, click on the cog icon on the right hand side of the page and click on settings. Then click on the "Labs" buttons and scroll almost all the way down and you'll see the option "Undo Send" click on the "Enable" option. Once enabled, you'll need to save it by pressing the 'Save Changes" button at the very bottom of the page.

With this feature, every time you send an email, you will see a yellow dialogue box that says "Your message has been sent" and you will also have an option to undo your sent message within 30 seconds of sending it.

Note: The Google default timer and pop up window for un-sending an email is 10 seconds. If you think you might require the maximum allotted 30 seconds, go to "Settings", then "General" then scroll down and locate "Undo Save" to boost the time to 30 seconds.

Good luck and always remember to practice safe emailing.
