The Colorado State Patrol recently used a traffic monitoring aircraft to bust a motorist doing 106 miles-per-hour on Highway 50. According to KKCO 11 News, this motorist was stopped for traveling at close to double the posted 65mph limit. What's the fastest speed you've had your car up to on a Colorado road?

Okay, I admit it, I once had a car up to 100mph on a Colorado Interstate. It's not that I was in a hurry. More than anything, I was curious if the vehicle could go that fast. As it turns out, it can.

Check out the video above, describing the process by which police can monitor your speed by aircraft. Is it just me, or does this look like one of the Scholastic movies they used to show us in school back in the 70s, hosted by a Leonard Nimoy wannabe? Pay attention, this is how you get busted.

We're not condoning anything, but rather, we're simply asking - What is the highest rate of speed you've had your vehicle up to on a Colorado road? Your name and information is not required.
