Halloween 2017 falls on a Tuesday, so many ghouls and goblins decided to get their festivities on during the weekend preceding the actual date. And, although many country stars were out on the road performing for their fans instead of partying it up at a spooky shindig, several did get into the spirit and took to their Instagram accounts to document their creative costumes.

RaeLynn and her band won "most spirited" award for their range of get-ups. Who knew Gumby could play guitar?

Clearly we all went to the costume store at different times.

The newly married Kacey Musgraves reminded fans of the time she donned yet another fancy gown, which transformed her into a Disney-worthy, picture-perfect Belle.

Maren Morris and her squad chose to play Grease's bad girls, the Pink Ladies. Tell me about it, stud!

Some people are so touchy.

It's not often you see the Pope and the Dark Knight hanging out shooting the breeze, but the Eagles' Joe Walsh and Brad Paisley managed to make that happen.

However, perhaps the hardest-working Halloween-er out there was Jerrod Niemann, who cheerfully took on the task of playing "costume roulette" for his friends at I Heart Radio. You can see his range of...er, interesting...getups below.

Thanks @iheartradio! Haha, had a blast. #costumeroulette
