Colorado’s Most Popular Candy for 2017
With Halloween right around the corner, make sure you get the right candy. Here's Colorado's favorites.
According to an online candy distributor called Candy Store, the top three most popular candies in The Centennial are:
3) Hershey's Kisses
2) Twix
And the winner is:
Milky Way
Well, it might not be the sexiest candy in the world, but it's what we voted on. Although, I was never asked to be a part of this vote. Were you? I guess just make sure you have plenty of Milky Way candy bars on hand for Halloween night.
So, how do match up against our bordering neighbors? Let's take a look.
-Utah comes in with Tootsie Pops, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and then Jolly Ranchers at the top spot.
-Wyoming ranks Skittles, Salt Water Taffy and then their champ, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
-New Mexico throws a monkey in this wrench. At least for me personally. Jolly Ranchers, Milky Way then -wait for it- Candy Corn at number one!??
Just for the record, Candy Corn is disgusting. I would rather (I think) eat a box of Peeps. The go to candy for me is a Heath bar or those big Chewy SweetTarts. Come to think of it, I am not sure they make those anymore.
Check out what how all the others states ranked their candy. But, don't tell your dentist.
