LOOK: America’s Favorite Grocery Chain Adds 2 Colorado Locations
Why do people love shopping at Costco stores? Is it lower (ish) prices, a larger quantity of items (like a 50-pack of paper towels), or is it that Costco lays out their stores to make them feel more roomy than their competitors?

New Costco Store Coming to Castle Rock
One of the fastest-growing communities in Colorado is the city of Castle Rock. With a population of about 81,415 residents, Costco has plans to open a new location there in 2027. New Costco Store Coming to Littleton
According to the Denver Post, another fast-growing Colorado city adding a Costco store is the city of Littleton at 700 W. Mineral Avenue. The population of over 40,000 will be adding their store once an office building site has been demolished and removed.
Redevelopment in Littleton will not only make room for the new Costco, but the project will also include the addition of new traffic lights, bike and walking paths surrounding the store, and about 1000 trees.
It makes you scratch your head. All that work in Littleton is cheaper than building a Grand Junction location? Maybe they are just not ready for Western Slope greatness just yet.
