Organizers of one of baseball's biggest events on the Western Slope are actively looking for national anthem singers to perform before the start of games. There are several matchups scheduled for the week of, and that means several chances for local voices to take center stage. Here are the details.

The Junior College World Series is an annual event each summer at Suplizio Field in Grand Junction. The term “Juco” is used in baseball, football, and basketball to describe the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The baseball tournament draws teams and fans from colleges around the U.S. for one week of games, bringing national attention to Grand Junction and filling the stands with thousands for each pregame anthem.
How to Audition and How Many Spots Are Open
If you want to audition to sing at Suplizio Field during the JUCO World Series, you can audition in person on April 13 at the River of Life Alliance Church, or submit an online video by April 14. Organizers are seeking soloists and groups to sing the Star-Spangled Banner before multiple games scheduled the week of May 23 to May 30.
