Grand Junction Ice Cream Favorite Is Up for Sale
Graff Dairy opens for the day by clearing the orange cones from the driveway, allowing customers to access the drive-thru. Once they do, the first customer of the day arrives in minutes.
The dairy has been one of Grand Junction’s favorite dessert destinations for decades, but now, they’re making headlines for a different reason: it’s officially up for sale.

Ed and Lloy Beauchamp took over the dairy in 2022, but age and health concerns have led them to search for someone interested in taking over the operations. The Business Times reports the dairy has hired Venture Group to sell the property. Their for-sale sign sits in front of the property, which is available for $1.7 million for the full package, or $425,000 for the business alone, including the equipment, branding, and beloved status among the locals. What Makes Graff Dairy Iconic—and What Comes Next
Graff Dairy on 29 Road became a Grand Junction icon as a gathering place for several generations. It’s always a fun place to visit for memories and a great menu. The Beauchamps want to sell to someone who will continue the legacy and not replace it. From local entrepreneurs or outside investors, the hope is that the Graff Dairy experience can stay the same.
