ICE! Returns To Aurora's Gaylord Rockies Resort

For the first time since 2019, Gaylord Rockies Resort will bring back ICE!, a wintery, festive wonderland created by expert master artisans who, impressively, hail from 7,000 miles away in Harbin, China.

These artisans work incredibly hard to carve and chip away at two million pounds of colorful ice over the course of several weeks to create the incredibly unique and unparalleled experience visitors will be in for beginning this November.

What To Expect

Visitors will get the chance to see and experience the story of A Charlie Brown Christmas! in "larger-than-life sculptures"  and more.

"See Charlie Brown, his canine sidekick, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang re-created in larger-than-life sculptures and even plunge down slides made entirely of ice in this Gaylord Hotels original experience", the Gaylord Rockies website reads.

"ICE! is a one-of-a-kind attraction and we’re excited to welcome this Gaylord Hotels tradition back this year with ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ and all the beloved Peanuts characters in the classic holiday story.

Gaylord Rockies' ICE! exhibition will return Friday, Nov. 18.

The 15 Snowiest Colorado Towns to Visit for a White Christmas

Looking for a White Christmas in Colorado? Here are the top 15 cities that see the most snowfall each December.

Grand Junction Christmas Light Displays of the 1940s

These decorations don't compare to the magnificent blue light display you'll see in the neighborhood in the northwest part of town. It was a different time. Even at that, there's something heartwarming about these 1948 decorations.

These are the best of the best of 1948. I regret I don't know which house placed first, second, etc. In the end, it doesn't matter. They're all great. Take a look at the gallery. Who knows? You might see a house you recognize. For that matter, you might see someone you recognize.
