See the Fun Easter Egg Hunts Planned for April in Western Colorado

Spring has arrived in Western Colorado, soon to be followed by the Easter Bunny! 

While you may have noticed the Easter Bunny hopping around the Mesa Mall in recent days, you'll also find the following Easter Egg Hunts happening in Grand Junction, Fruita, Montrose in the coming weeks. Scroll on for the info.

When Does the Easter Holiday Occur in 2022?

The Easter Holiday will take place on Sunday, April 17th, 2022. Many churches will host multiple services in the area on Easter Sunday which means that many of the egg hunts planned in April will take place on the Saturday before the holiday.

Most Egg Hunts Are Scheduled the Saturday Before Easter

To make things easier on everyone, many of the Easter Egg hunts being planned this April will happen the Saturday before Easter. This means that several cities will all be planning their own events on the same Saturday.

• Event: Fruita, Colorado’s Easter Egg Scramble
• Location: Fruita Community Center Backyard (for kids age 7 or under only)
• Date & Time: April 13^th, 2022 4 pm to 6 pm

• Event: Grand Junction Community Easter Egg Hunt
• Location: Bookcliff Baptist Church at 2702 Patterson Road in Grand Junction.
• Date & Time: Saturday April 16^th @ 10 am

• Event: Absolute Prestige Easter Fun in the Country
• Location: 1351 Q Road in Loma, Colorado
• Date & Time: Saturday, April 16^th from 10 am to 10 pm
• Directions: Loma Easter Egg HuntTap the link to pre-register to attend this fun-filled event in Loma, Colorado. There is an admission fee. Kids can meet the Easter Bunny at this event and should bring a basket for collecting eggs.

As the Western Slope gets closer to Easter we may see another organization announce a hunt over the next couple of weeks.
