Kroger will begin phasing out their plastic bags. There are many states who are doing this and now finally another big grocery chain. The store chain says they will begin phasing out the plastic bags in lieu of reusable bags. Many of my friends are already bringing their own bags to stores when they shop doing their part to help the environment.

What do you do to help the environment? Do you recycle? What do you recycle? I recycle paper and aluminum cans and steel cans. Do you recycle plastic water bottles if so where do you take them? I noticed on some of the water bottles that you can get 5 cents for each bottle.

It is no secret that plastic bags are bad for the environment. These plastic bags end up in the ocean and our fish end up eating this plastic. Birds eat the plastic and so do turtles. This is horrible for our marine life. We are making headway.
