Big National Emergency Test Today 2:18 Eastern 12:18 MDT

President Donald Trump will text every American who has wireless at 2:18 pm Eastern, 12:18 our time unless you opted out. It is only a test. This is a test to alert U.S Citizens in case of a  crisis.

This is the first time that this test will be used. We see them on TV and listen to them on the radio. The Emergency Broadcast Alert System and now we will get another test via our cell phone. This will pave the way for the president to let u.s citizens know about threats to our nation.

The new presidential alert will be used for advance warning of national crises, and not for regional or local alerts.
