The BEST movie ever filmed in Colorado has been named. Do you agree?

There certainly are plenty of movies that were shot here in Colorado to choose from. Going back to 1956 with 'Around The World In Eighty Days' to 2015's 'Fast & Furious 7.' All you need to do is look outside and you'll know why. From the Front Range Rockies to the Bookcliffs and the Monument on the Western Slope, the scenery is absolutely awesome.

But, which movie is the best one to be filmed in the Centennial State? According to the website cheatsheet.com, we have to go back to 1969 and the epic tale of two bank robbers who decide to head to Bolivia when the police get too close. That's right:

'Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid' is their choice for the BEST movie ever filmed in Colorado. Shot in Durango, Silverton, and Telluride. Pretty big star power with Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

Here are some other ones to be considered:

  • About Schmidt - Jack Nicholson
  • Independence Day - Will Smith
  • Dumb & Dumber - Jim Carrey
  • Thelma & Louise - Susan Sarandon
  • City Slickers - Billy Crystal
