Alexander Fedak faces four charges in the shooting death of 25-year-old Shandie Case in November. Criminally negligent homicide, vehicular eluding, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and reckless driving.

According the the accused, he was not shooting at Shandie Case. He was, instead, aiming at a third party. A man that he and Case were in an argument with over a rental car. In the original report it was stated that Case died from a gunshot to the head when Fedak was shooting at Joseph Anthony Manzanarez.

The first court appearance was for his bond hearing. 22 reasons were given by Fedak's attorneys as to why the $50,000 cash only bond should be reduced. Judge Richard Gurley denied that motion.

Next court appearance will be January 17.
