All of the Things at Pork and Hops People Often Miss Out On
This year, the Colorado Pork and Hops Challenge is September 9 and 10 at Lincoln Park. There are plenty of things most people enjoy including the nightly concerts, festival booths, and food and beverage but there are also things people often miss out on.
Buying tickets in advance.
This eliminates the hassle of having to wait in line to purchase Saturday tickets the day of the event. There are multiple locations to purchase advance tickets. Friday tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Attending both days of the event.
Each day has things unique to that day including the nightly entertainment.
Purchasing a People's Choice ticket.
Sample BBQ from the professionals who are competing for cash prizes. Sure, there's great food at the venue, but getting to eat samples from the pros will delight your taste buds.
Attending the BBQ Judging Seminar.
This seminar taught by the professionals will take your knowledge and appreciation of BBQ to a whole new level. You'll also be able to get certified for professional judging. Plus, you'll likely learn how to make your own BBQ better.
Entering the Amateur BBQ Competition.
Even if you don't win, the comments from the judges on how to make your BBQ better are going to be some of the best advice you're likely to get. Your kids can also enter the Kids Que.
In addition to these five, there is something new this year at Pork and Hops, a Cornhole Challenge with a chance to win a share of $1,000. Your family will also want to have fun with laser tag and other great activities throughout the two days of the event.
