Adopt a wild horse or burro and get paid for it. The Bureau of Land Management wants to encourage more people to adopt a wild horse or burro, and they are willing to provide up to $1,000 to anyone who adopts an untrained wild horse or burro from the bureau.

If you want to find out more information on how to get the incentive click here.

You could have a beautiful horse for a very small price. The bids for these wild horses will start at just $25.00. The “mustang weekend” will be held on March 29 at Rimrock Rodeo Grounds. The first day of the event will feature a class called mustang gentling.

Friends of the Mustangs will be hosting the event and will feature the animals that were rounded up in the Little Bookcliffs area. They were rounded up to prevent overgrazing and starvation.

Wild horses can travel up to 40 miles a day in search of food. This will help manage the heard. Once again March 29th attend the workshop and then March 30th you can bid on these lovely horses.
