People were concerned when Enzo's moved out of their old location on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction. Fortunately, they just moved down the road. A new business is getting ready to move to the old location. Wouldn't it be neat if it were another Italian restaurant?

Guess what? It is. Citrolas will be opening a location at 759 Horizon Drive on April 11. What about their current location at 624 Rae Lynn Street? I called and spoke with an employee at that location. For the time being, it appears the lease has been extended at their original site, and they may continue to operate both restaurants.

As you can clearly see in the photo below, it's no secret Citrolas will be moving to this spot. With the exception of the doors, there isn't a single surface which hasn't been covered with "Coming Soon Citrolas" signs.

Personally, I'm not familiar with their menu. According to Citrolas' website, they feature appetizers such as Gouda Steak Sliders, Bruschetta, and Mussels Bianco. Pasta dishes include Fettuccine Alfredo, Fettuccini Bolognese, and Penne Vodka. Other menu items include steaks, fish, and build-your-own pizzas.

I'm looking forward to this new location. I always like it when a new Grand Junction business opens. This may ultimately be a simple relocation rather than a second restaurant, but then again, it may not. Welcome to Horizon Drive, Citrolas.
