Keeping up with the Jones' is hard to do in today's economy, that's why folks are limiting their household purchases & focusing on the ONE important item they really want. What is it?

According to a new study, the one item that folks believe shows you've made it, is a hot tub or Jacuzzi.

This item topped the list of Most Desirable Household Items for men and women, closely followed by a walk in closet!

Of course for women the closet is closer to the top of our lists, while men would prefer speakers in every room of the house.

This is a dramatic change from the 50s when a toaster and foam sofa were the most desired items.

During the 60's it was a washing machine.
