What Does Luke Bryan’s Lyrics ‘Drip of Honey on the Moneymaker’ Mean?

CMT recently sat down with Luke Bryan to ask him what exactly a “drip of honey on the moneymaker” is. The answer is kinda surprising.

Luke admits he is stumped by his own lyrics!  Apparently he was so confused he even called up one of the song’s writers to ask the same question. Surprisingly the songwriter wasn't able to offer much in the way of  an explanation either admitting even they aren’t sure the line means. Luke says, “That’s the fun part, you can just leave it open. It doesn’t really make sense, but it’s awesome.”

When CMT asked what you should do with a girl who has a “drip of honey on the moneymaker,” Luke said, “Get a biscuit?”
