Western Colorado’s Audubon Trail Cluttered With Fallen Trees After Recent Snow
Hikers, bikers, and dog walkers visiting Grand Junction's Audubon Trail will have to make the occasional duck and swerve to avoid fallen trees along the path. Recent heavy snows proved to be too heavy for some of the trees to bear.
It doesn't take long to encounter the fallen trees. The first of the bunch can be found only a few hundred feet from the start of the trail.
Whereas some trees suffered broken limbs from the weight of the recent snow, others were completely uprooted.
