Clyde Jorgensen, bassist and vocalist from Grand Junction's legendary "Ralph N' Clyde", will return to Grand Junction on May 31 for one show. With any luck, Ralph might be on hand, too.

"Ralph N Clyde" made their way to Grand Junction back in the 1960s for a six-week gig at the old St. Regis just off of 4th Street and Colorado Avenue. They ended up staying for decades.

Coming up May 31 at 2:00PM, Clyde Jorgensen will perform a 45-minute show at Unity Church at 3205 North 12th Street. Clyde will be joined by Diane West, and hopefully, Ralph Smith.

Jorgensen says he is excited to return to the valley, and looks forward to seeing some familiar faces:

I am so looking forward to being in Grand Junction, seeing old friends and family. I am also excited about doing a show with my dear friend, Diane West. She has pulled me out of tight spots in a show many times and just may have to do so again. - Clyde Jorgensen

In addition to performing with friends, he says he is excited to revisit a familiar venue. According to Clyde, "Being at our beloved Unity is also something I will enjoy."

Will Ralph Smith appear, and turn it into a full blown "Ralph N' Clyde" show? It's possible. According to Clyde, "I have asked Ralph to come do a song with us, and though he hasn't performed in a long time, I am hoping to share the stage with my brother one more time."

Copies of Clyde's new CD will be available for purchase. Tickets for the show are not required. The show is presented on a "love offering" basis.
