Wedding Wednesday- Potluck Style

Wedding planning continues! And discoveries of many hidden fees are coming out.

Catering has not proven to be very reasonable for a wedding size of over 200 people., so I came up with a less traditional food option idea.

Crock pots full of stew and chili! I could buy the ingredients in bulk and borrow about 10 crock pots to use for keeping everything warm. Buy salad in bulk as well. There you go. Delicious homemade meal! I love crock pot meals plus, easy preparation.

Some have not agreed with this idea. Is this tacky? Have you seen something like this before?
