Life will never be the same. Western Colorado's beloved "Laughing Dog Coffee House," a fixture for coffee fanatics, dog lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts, is no more. Take one last look, and bid a fond farewell to this iconic Grand Junction business.

Laughing Dog wasn't just a coffee house, it was a cultural center for Western Colorado's finest. On any given day, you could find some of the Grand Valley's most popular musicians like Jeff Pine, Jerry Colby, and Hugh Plumleigh, hanging out and planning the next big concert event.

Hikers, bikers, and dog walkers would also stop by Laughing Dog for a coffee to go or a pre-hike warmup.

Laughing Dog was the scene for several fundraisers for the Roice-Hurst Humane Society. Among the more popular fundraisers, the ever-popular "French Toast For Furry Friends."

Now for the good news: While "Laughing Dog" is closed, the venue will reopen under new ownership. The staff you've come to know and love will be on hand, ready to serve you with a smile. Will the shop still be "dog friendly"? It seems you'll just have to swing by and find out.

Farewell "Laughing Dog." Wait, come back... we miss you already.
