It wasn't that long along ago, that this look was THE look.

The 'mullet', according to Wikipedia, has quite a history. Dating back to possibly the 6th century when it was referred to as the 'Hunnic' look.

The 1970's brought as that look with such rockers as Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney and David Bowie. But as far as Country music, it was the 'Achy Breaky Heart' man himself that really brought it the forefront in Country. Thank you, Billy Ray Cyrus.
