It is that time of the year. You can hear it in the air.

The annual Salvation Army kettle campaign got its start on Sunday (November 13).

You see the red aprons, the red kettles and of course hear the familiar bells ringing all across the Valley. This year there are 38 locations. The Salvation Army is hoping to raise $200,000 this holiday season.

“We hope to provide Christmas for 3,000 children, 44 nursing homes, as well as food for all those families, and just have a great Christmas for people who are struggling during the year,”
