Today, November 11, is Veteran's Day and we want to show our vets how much we appreciate them.

If you are a veteran of the Armed Forces we thank you for your service.

But, Veteran's Day is more than that to me. My Grandfather served in World War 2. My Uncle served two tours as a medic/doctor in Vietnam. My father was in the service as was another Uncle of mine. My regret is that I never served the way they did.

We would love for you to share the names of your friends and family members that have served. So we all know.

Today is the day we remember all who fought for this country. If you haven't seen this, it is a list of FREE gifts from Grand Junction area businesses, to those who have served and protected this land. It is the very least we can do.
