Police Respond to Accident Near Grand Junction High School

Why are there several police cars, a fire truck and an ambulance in front of Grand Junction High School?

Shortly before 1 p.m. on Thursday authorities responded to an accident in front of Grand Junction High School involving a motorist and a bicyclist. Details are few at this time. Police were busy collecting information and were unavailable for comment.

Approaching the scene at 5th and Kennedy, only a block from the radio station, an ambulance was spotted leaving the scene.
