A Grand Junction visit for Republican Candidate Donald Trump will have to wait.

This information I just found out as of 9:27 a.m. Saturday morning. According to the Media/Press request forms we in the media are privy to, there are confirmed Trump stops for Tuesday and Wednesday. But NOT in Colorado. Tuesday consists of two stops for Mr. Trump. First, in East Lancaster, PA and a second in Pittsburgh. Wednesday, he is scheduled to be Cambridge, Ohio.

Friday morning it looked like it was a sure thing. That the man himself, Donald J. Trump was on his way to Grand Junction for a campaign stop.

However, since then communication between Mr. Trump and the Mesa County Republican Party have gone quiet. KKCO News has this story. No confirmation on a Trump visit has been established, not yet at least.

If you look at the travel schedule of the Presidential hopeful, you can see that Colorado would have been a tight fit. On Monday August 8 Trump is committed to one stop in Michigan and two stops in Iowa. But nothing officially on his schedule for Tuesday August 8.

In fact, a source stated that there was a scheduling conflict and that Mr. Trump's Pueblo appearance set for Tuesday would not be possible. So, if he's not in Pueblo, will he be in Grand Junction?

Regardless of your politics, I still think it's a major compliment to us and the Grand Junction area that we are even on the radar of Presidential candidates. So, if and or when Donald trump or Hillary Clinton visit, I hope that we can can be as respectful and classy as i know we can be.
