911 calls from the Newtown school shooting were released to the public yesterday (12/4).

Please use your own judgment as to whether these are appropriate for YOU to listen to!

10 days away from the anniversary of the tragedy that took the lives of 26 people in a Connecticut elementary school, including 20 first graders, seven emergency calls were released.

In one a woman tells authorities she saw a gunman run down the hall, in another a janitor begs for help, and another from a teacher who hadn't yet locked the door while hiding with children in her classroom.

In some of them gunfire can even be heard.

According to the Associated Press, Teresa Rousseau, the mother of one of the six educators killed, said that there is no need to play them on radio or TV.
