LoCash Cowboys Vs. The Pistol Annies — Country Shootout

This weeks theme is Country Artists coming to Major Mortgage Country Jam. Today's competitors are the LoCash Cowboys and The Pistol Annies.

LoCash Cowboys are a local favorite and have been to many Country Jam's and Rock Jam's. Some of their songs have hit the Country charts like 'Keep in Mind', 'Here Comes Summer,' and 'You Got Me.' They do a lot of song writing too. They wrote Tim McGraw's 'Truck Yeah' and Keith Urban's 'You Gonna Fly.' You might remember how amped these guys get when they perform. Preston has a tendency to climb random objects as high as he can get. They are one of the best entertainers in the business.

Going up against the LoCash Cowboys this week, new artist to the country scene and to Country Jam, The Pistol Annies. The Pistol Annies are composed of Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley. Pistol Annies made their debut on April 22, 2011, on the Academy of Country Music's Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country on CBS, performing with Lambert's husband, Blake Shelton. They came out with 'Hell on Heels' in 2011 and 'Taking Pills' came out in 2012. They got a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the American Country Awards.
