‘LoCash Cowboys’ Raise Big Bucks for Two Western Colorado Non-Profits
LoCash Cowboys, whose secret identities are Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, followed their high energy performance at Major Mortgage Country Jam by competing in (and winning) a Cornhole tournament raising funds for two Western Colorado non-profits.
The LoCash Cowboys competed against KEKB's Britton Crone and yours' truly last Thursday, rounding out the Thursday heat of the tournament. As you are probably already aware, the LoCash Cowboys know a thing or two about fun and partying, so it should come at no surprise they are quite accomplished at the game.
When it is all said and done, the LoCash Cowboys helped generate several hundred bucks for both Operation Interdependence and the Robert "Bob" Grant Memorial Scholarship. Operation Interdependence is an organization which sends civilian rations to troops overseas. The Robert "Bob" Grant Memorial Scholarship provides an education to students at Colorado Mesa University.
The LoCash Cowboy's new self-titled CD just hit stores. The next few stops for the guys will be at the Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kansas, on June 29th, and the Greeley Stampede in Colorado, on July 5th and 6th..
