The 'World's Greatest Yard Sale has tons of great deals but there are just some items you shouldn't but used.

This is one of my favorite events every year, mainly because I get so many things for such a great price all in one spot, but also because it's great way to get rid of all the junk we accumulate around our property every year. I was thrilled the first year, after spending five bucks for my booth I made $300 dollars!

Plus it's a fantastic place to just observe. Not only the people but the stuff they sell too. Ever year I'm shocked by some strange item that someone is selling.

One year I remember an employee having to ask a man to deflate something he 'claimed' was a 6' tall inflatable hotdog. The item in question did resemble something hotdog like, but was NOT a hotdog!

Another year it was a toilet. Not only a toilet, but a used toilet that the current owner had not bothered to clean prior to his attempt at selling it. He 'claimed' it had been sitting outside & the 'debris' inside was just rainwater & leaves, but the jury is still out. Employees weren't brave enough to conduct tests.

The list goes on & grows every year! I'm sure I'll be adding to it September 15th at the Mesa County Fairgrounds during this years event.
