Apparently not. As early as 9AM on Saturday, January 31st, people were enjoying a pleasant jog in the rain on Western Colorado's Audubon Trail. Is it normal for people to be jogging this early?

Does anyone remember when we used to go December through February with the temperature never getting above freezing? Granted, there were always the hard cores that would jog no matter what the weather or temperature.

However, today, January 31st, almost everyone on the Audubon was jogging. If there were 50 people on the trail between 9 and 10 this morning, 45 of them were there for a nice run.

Not only is it January, but the weather has been a light rain the entire day. It goes without saying that for many of us, a light rain makes for a great walk. But a jog?

It seems Grand Junction's mild Winter has motivated its residents to get out and take in a little exercise a few months early. If you are an enthusiast, then it seems Mother Nature has given you the cue to get started.
